Syncing your calendar

We use a service called Acuity to let you have instant two-way sync with the platform. This makes sure you cannot be double-booked, events show up straight away, and you cannot be booked when you have personal engagements in the diary.

Acuity also lets you set sensible limits on when you can be booked; by default you cannot be booked more than 4 weeks in advance and with less than 48 hours' notice, but you can customise this as you prefer.

How to set up your calendar

On your successful application, we will have provided you a login.

  1. Click Sync with other calendars and follow the steps. This means you cannot be booked when you have other events scheduled, and bookings go straight into your calendar for easy reference.

  2. Click Availability and: a) set your hours of availability, i.e. which days and times can people book. b) update your scheduling limits, e.g. how much advance notice is required before a booking and how far in advance you can be booked, if the defaults do not suit you.

It's fairly intuitive, but, Steffen's recorded a video guide to whizz you through the process. Any questions, let us know.

When complete, your calendar might look like this:

This would mean that you can be booked any time between 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday... and

...which would mean a client can book with 24 hours notice, they can cancel 12 hours in advance, and there is no upper limit to the number of bookings that can be made per day/week. Set whichever limits suit you.
